Exchange 2010 Public Folder Bounce Email

I recently did a Exchange 2003 to 2010 migration and was receiving the following error when sending email to a mail enabled public folder

#< #5.2.0 smtp;554 5.2.0 STOREDRV.Deliver.Exception:ObjectNotFoundException; Failed to process message due to a permanent exception with message The Active Directory user wasn't found. ObjectNotFoundException: The Active Directory user wasn't found.> #SMTP#

Turns out I had to break out ADSIEdit. Navigate to the following path. If Servers container is empty, delete it and try sending an email again. It worked for me. Hopefully it will work for you too.

CN=Configuration , CN=Services, CN=Microsoft Exchange, CN=[OrganizationName], CN=Administrative Groups, CN=[LegacyName], CN=Servers
